Muito se falou sobre Rodrigo Santoro ter sido eleito um dos piores atores de 2007 (pergunta número 20 logo abaixo), mas vamos combinar, aquele Xerxes de 300 não foi um papel lá muito fácil, sem falar que a atuação de Santoro não foi ruim, foi adequada para o papel e praticamente impossível de ser avaliada.

A voz do personagem foi alterada digitalmente, havia muita (muita mesmo) maquiagem e penduricalhos e a postura da voz também não deixa ninguém livre para fazer uma avaliação completa da atuação do ator. Estas listas feitas por americanos não podem ser levadas muito a sério (a notícia está em todos os portais e sai até no Jornal da Band), afinal de contas, duvido que estes quesitos técnicos tenham sido levados em consideração.

Assisti 300 novamente a pouco tempo e não tenho nada do que reclamar da atuação de Santoro, o personagem dele é que é meio estranho, mas Xerxes é uma figura historicamente estranha. Culpar Santoro por isso não acredito que tenha sido justo, uma vez que a interpretação dele não pode ser avaliada debaixo de tanta maquiagem, bijuterias, vozes alteradas e efeitos especiais.
